As a school, we have a moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard all pupils in our care. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are valued and respected.
As a staff, we are alert to all signs of abuse and neglect in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025.All child-protection records are kept separate from children’s general school file. The only members of staff who have access to the records are the DSL’s.
Child protection is a very sensitive issue and it raises many questions and a range of strong emotions. We will do everything we can do to support our pupils and you can be assured that any action we may take will be in the best interests of your child.

Designated Safeguarding Leads
Our Designated Safeguarding leads are Mrs Padfield, Mrs Brown, Mrs Crossland, Miss Hillam and Miss Simpson.
